SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme website [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area each day.
